Before beginning the application process for any type of private student loan, make sure that you have exhausted all other lower-cost sources of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, and Federal student loans.

New Borrowers - In order to complete a new loan application, you will need:

Your name, U.S. mailing address, phone number, and date of birth

Your Social Security Number and Driver's License Number

Two personal adult references at different U.S. addresses, including their phone numbers

Co-Borrower Information (if applicable): Social Security #; Date of Birth; U.S. mailing address and phone number; Driver's License Number and State; Employer Name, Gross Monthly Income, Phone Number and Years at Employer
Returning Borrowers - In order to request additional funds from your existing line of credit, you will need to verify:

Mailing address of borrower and co-borrower (if applicable)

Email and telephone number for borrower and co-borrower (if applicable)

Loan amount for the upcoming academic year
